It is the first laser to feature a micro-pulsed energy delivery system that’s so precise and powerful that it can break apart the pigment in the deepest lesions without affecting your surrounding, healthy skin. The Excel V+ features advanced technology that breaks apart and eliminates excess pigment in lesions ranging in size from just 2mm to as large as 16mm in diameter.
In even better news, it is virtually painless! The micro-pulsed energy used to treat discolouration leaves the surrounding healthy skin untouched, while the unique CoolView technology keeps your skin at a comfortable temperature throughout your treatment, without the need for numbing creams or gels or any type of anaesthetic.

More Information
The treatment takes approximately one hour to complete. Prior to the procedure, your skin will be cleansed with a gentle cleaner. A handheld device then moves back and forth across the skin creating a sensation of warmth. Stimulating collagen growth. Post treatment, a soothing serum will be applied along with SPF and you are ready to go about your day.
Excel V+ works for people of all ages and skin tones who want to reduce the appearance of fine lines or redness. We cannot perform treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We cannot perform treatment if you have active acne or any other skin infection including a coldsore. If you do not presently have a coldsore but get coldsores frequently, please contact the clinic at least 1 week before your scheduled treatment so that we can formulate a plan to minimise the risk of any complications for you. We cannot carry out Excel V+ if you have skin cancer, bleeding disorders, poorly controlled diabetes, a history of keloid scarring, have had another aesthetic treatment within the last 2 weeks or if you are using or have used oral skin medications in the past 6 months.
Thanks to the revolutionary cooling technology, Excel V+ sessions are much more comfortable than other laser treatments on the market. We use topical anaesthetic so most people find treatment comfortable. You will feel some mild-moderate heat in the skin and a prickling sensation but generally it is very well tolerated.
You can expect some mild swelling and redness post treatment. Where we are treating pigmentation, you can also expect these areas to darken and flake in the first week. For most people this is very manageable and the results make it very worthwhile.
For transformative results and overall skin rejuvenation, we recommend booking in for a package of 4-6 Excel V+laser treatments. We will use the first 2 laser sessions to “clear the canvas”, removing any imperfections from your skin such as visible veins, age spots, scars, skin tags and more.
Once we have a beautiful clean canvas, we can get to work on your overall skin tone and appearance giving your skin that bright, healthy and glowing appearance.
You can also choose to book an individual 30 minute laser treatment to spot-treat your issues such as broken capillaries, spider veins, scars and more. Depending on the severity of your issue, it can take anywhere from 1-3 sessions.
